  See No Evil

[I wrote this over two years from 2006-08] My first novel is a fable inspired by The Maltese Falcon and Crime & Punishment. The year is 1930. The depression hit Jonathan Pascal like a sledgehammer, taking his money and his family. Desperately groping for an exit, Pascal kills himself. He is resurrected and faced with a terrible bargain: if he kills seven people, he and his brother will be resurrected. But will this trade cost him everything that made him human to begin with?

Where The Hell My Heart Went

This novel chronicles the journey of a man, Adam Hamilton, who lives a carefree life, following the winds of change, and using his intelligence and cynicism to sidestep a "normal" life. The vagabond then wakes up one morning to find that all of his wanderings have been fabrications of his concussed mind. He has slept through his youth, and awakens in a world with no place for him. This book poses questions about the nature of reality and relationships and attempts to appraise life on the open road.

  Poetry

Of all my endeavors, I am most proud of my poetry. I like to think that my use of first-person and liberal allusions creates a poem that is at once personal and cosmopolitan--autobiographical and epic. I hope you agree.
